The Last of the Baby Showers.....

My girlfriends threw me a wonderful shower this past weekend at Prime Parc in Buford, GA. Leighann, Crystal and Lindsay did a wonderful job putting together such a beautiful shower. I have gotten so many compliments from everyone on how beautiful it was. The food and decor was great. Timmy put together a beautiful spread.
I was so great to get all of the girls together on last time before Addison arrives. Thank you so much to everyone that was able to come. Brandon and I appreciate all of your love and support during this amazing time in our lives.

Maternity Photographs

We had our maternity photographs taken last night by a wonderful photographer, Angie Barrett. She sent us a couple sneak peeks to hold us over until we get the slide show. I was nervous how Brandon would do but we had a lot of fun with it. He had lots of ideas for different shots to take. I think I changed clothes 10 times. Here are few of the pictures, and these are just a taste of all the others. We can't wait to see the rest. She hopes to have us a slide show and gallery in about 2 weeks. She is who will be doing Addison's newborn photos as well. If anyone needs a great photographer at really reasonable prices, she is fantastic. http://www.angiebarrettphotography.com/ We had fun with the paint!
This is my favorite so far...

I look like a Mommy in this one....

Ga Mtn Fair Parade and Family Reunion

This weekend was the Annual Ga Mtn Fair Parade in Hiawassee, GA. We drove up to Hiawassee on Thursday night after work and stayed the weekend. We stayed in Blake's family cabin on Lake Chatuge as we did last year. On Friday we drove up to Becky & Jim's cabin in Franklin,, NC on the Nantahala River and had lunch and dinner with the family. While we were there we canoed the river, which was a little low. 34 weeks pregnant and canoeing the river, was quite interesting. Brandon did a great job, even though he swore I wouldn't have to paddle, but some how I ended up paddling most of the way. We took "Pops30" up to ride in the parade on Saturday for the 2nd year since Brandon has had the A-Model. Last year was miserably hot and no breeze, this year however was GORGEOUS. The weather was perfect, around 77 degrees and a nice breeze. After the parade we went to "Tater Ridge" for the annual family reunion. Lots of Southern Cooking and Babies. It seems like we get a new one every year. It turned out to be a very relaxing weekend, not working around the house of the boat storage. Now it's back to reality. Brandon's Pride & Joy!
I love riding in the A-Model, so long as it's cool.

So Happy!

Family Baby Shower

I had my 2nd Baby Shower on Saturday and it was wonderful. Inga, Bridget and Pam did a fantastic job. What great Hostesses! I can't believe how many adorable clothes Addison got. I did laundry all afternoon yesterday and I'm only done with her blankets, sheets, Newborn and 0-3 Months. Wow! What a chore! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Brandon was able to stop by for a little bit to say hello to all the "women". (If you know Brandon, he fit right in!) Addison is going to be such a lucky (and well dressed) little girl.

My New Ride!

Here is a picture of my new ride. I finally found a good deal, and you know Brandon and I don't buy it unless it's a good deal! It's definitely not exactly what I was initially looking at but, I love it! It's going to be so safe for me and Addison. I know Brandon is very thankful to have the Mercedes back and have air conditioning after being without it for 2 months. He was such a sweetheart. So now we have the best of both worlds, our sports car and an SUV! What's funny is he drives the sports car and I drive the TANK!

Addison's Room Completed

I hope everyone had a Happy and Safe 4th of July. Our's was not too exciting but somewhat relaxing by the pool. I have definitely started nesting, I feel like I can't sit still or wait for anything to be done. I had Brandon putting up all new Blinds in the house, which are great and now I'm ready for him to paint the guest bathroom. Poor thing, no rest for the weary! So Here is Addison's room with her Monogram, Valances and new lamp shade (covered it my self, with fabric from Wal-Mart). It's finally all coming together. Now, I'm looking forward to my baby shower this Saturday that Inga, Bridget and Pam are throwing. My mom and 2 of my aunts will be up from Florida as well, so it will be great to have them here for the day.
Addison's Monogram, that I ordred from an awesome website call ETSY, all things are handmade and sold by individuals. Great price and great quality. It was so easy to apply too!

Not real sure I like this wall, but it will do for now.

My mom bought us this and Brandon liked it above the door going into Addison's room. He's so smart! I would have never thought of that.
Till next time......
